Mr Jonathan Hayward

Jonathan Hayward is CEO and a founder partner of Independent Audit Limited. He has been instrumental in building the firm into a respected board consultancy which helps clients add more value to their business from their strategic leadership and control.

Jonathan works closely with clients on governance frameworks, board and committee effectiveness, audit and risk-related assurance issues and governance communication. His advice is highly practical and thoughtful, based on a lateral combination of experience, objectivity and curiosity. He is fascinated by the systemic aspects of governance, both within companies and within investment markets.

Before founding Independent Audit, Jonathan was a Partner with PwC for 10 years. He was leader of the firm’s Financial Services Practice in Russia from 1992-1995 and later held a leadership role in audit development and research.
