Biography

Hildegard Ziemons studied law and economics at the University of Bonn and gained a Doctorate from Bonn University law school for a thesis on an aspect of company law. She has spent periods working abroad with a law firm in Budapest and with the Dresdner Bank AG in London. She was academic assistant at the Institute for Commercial and Economic Law at University of Bonn (chair held by Prof. Dr Dres h.c. Marcus Lutter and Prof. Dr Dr h.c. mult. Karsten Schmidt) from 1989 to mid-1997. After several years as an independent lawyer she joined CMS Hasche Sigle in July 1997 and became a partner in July 2000. Since December 2013 she has been admitted to the bar at the German Federal Supreme Court (Rechtsanwältin beim Bundesgerichtshof).
