Biography

With over 20 years of experience in finance and entrepreneurship, I have developed a comprehensive background in both fields, enriched by my deep commitment to academic research in ethics and AI. My career began in corporate finance at Procter & Gamble, where I gained extensive expertise in Latin American markets, notably in Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, and Mexico. In 2001, I took the entrepreneurial leap and founded a company focused on credit and the purchase of receivables/FIDC, later transitioning to a fund manager role. I also served as a Partner and Managing Director at Newbury Asset Management.

My professional expertise spans cost accounting, P/L management, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, real estate, asset management, fund structure, and credit. On the academic side, I have delved deeply into philosophy and history, with a particular emphasis on law, artificial intelligence, science, and technology. My academic credentials include a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) from the Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), alongside a Bachelor and Master of Arts, and a Licentiate degree in History from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Economics from UNICAMP (Brazil), an LLM Degre from the University of Chicago Law School (USA) and a LLB from Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). Brazilian and Italian citizenships.
