Biography

Dr. Edison Paul Tabra Ochoa is a leading Lawyer, extrajudicial moderator and a lecturer in Corporate and Business Law at the Postgraduate School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). He holds a Ph.D. and a M.A. in Culture and Government of Organizations by the University of Navarra (Spain), and a L.L.M. in Business Law by Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP).

 

Dr. Tabra’s research interests involves the study in the fields of corporate law, corporate governance and social responsibility issues. In addition, he has been a researcher at the Institute of Enterprise and Humanism (Spain), Institute Catholique de Rennes (France); and participated in relevant events in Austria, United Stated, Sweden, Italy and Spain. He is also part of the staff of commissioners of the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property – INDECOPI (Huancayo, Peru) that has the purpose to evaluate and discuss cases about Consumer Protection, Elimination of Bureaucratic Barriers, and overseeing of Unfair Competition.

 

Mr. Tabra has participated in prestigious academic events and he has many publications. For example “Ethics and Solidarity: Historical and normative perspectives” (Globethics, 2017), " Social responsibility and corporate governance in the company of solidarity” (USIL, 2017) and his recently published book entitled “Solidarity and Corporate Governance” (J.M. Bosch, 2015). He is an academic member of World Interdisciplinary Network for Institutional Research (England), the European Corporate Governance Institute (EGCI), and Institute of Enterprise and Humanism (Spain).
