Professor Denis Sosyura
Biography
Denis Sosyura is the James and Elizabeth Robertson Professor of Finance at Arizona State University (ASU). His research focuses on corporate finance and governance, financial institutions, and financial media.
His work has been published in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, and Review of Financial Studies, and received over a dozen best paper awards at academic conferences. He serves as an Associate Editor at the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and holds the Distinguished Referee Award from the Review of Financial Studies.
His teaching has also been recognized by several awards, such as the Most Impactful Finance Professor, the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award, and the John W. Teets Graduate Teaching Award. He holds a PhD in Finance from Yale University and an MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University, and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
