Biography

Bryan E. Stanhouse received his PhD in Economics from the University of Illinois. Professor Stanhouse has been a research economist at the U.S. Treasury, and he has taught at the University of Illinois, Washington State University, University of Notre Dame, as well as the University of Oklahoma. The hallmark of his teaching is an unbridled enthusiasm for the material in derivative securities, FIN 4113. Professor Stanhouse has published more than two dozen research papers in professional journals and his major challenges include developing a one-handed backhand in tennis and a hopeless addiction to St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
