Professor Alex Edmans

Alex Edmans is Professor of Finance at London Business School and Managing Editor of the Review of Finance. Alex’s research interests are in corporate finance (executive compensation, corporate governance, M&A), behavioural finance, and corporate social responsibility. He has published in the American Economic Review, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, and Review of Financial Studies. He has spoken at the World Economic Forum in Davos, testified in the UK Parliament, and given TEDx talks on “The Social Responsibility of Business” and “From Post-Truth to Pro-Truth”. Alex earned a BA from Oxford University and a PhD from the MIT Sloan School of Management as a Fulbright Scholar.
