Tobias Tröger is Professor of Private Law, Commercial and Business Law and Jurisprudence at the House of Finance at Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main. He is also a Program Director for Corporate Finance at the Leibniz Institute Sustainable Architecture for Finance in Europe (SAFE) and an Associate Professor at the Institute of Monetary and Financial Stability (IMFS), two Frankfurt based think tanks devoted to providing cutting edge research and evidence-based policy advice. Finally, he is Managing Director or the Executive Board of the European Banking Institute (EBI). Tobias Tröger inter alia advises the European Parliament on matters of banking supervision. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School, Eberhard-Karls-University Tübingen and Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich.
