Marisa Aparicio gained her Ph.D. in Commercial Law (bondholders protection) in 1986 at the Autonoma University of Madrid.
She has been Professor at the Autonoma University of Madrid since 1987 and was formerly Director of "Business Law Master" at Comillas University of Madrid from 1997.
She was Legal Researcher in "Securities" during 1993 Spring Semester in Georgetown University (Washington, D.C.).
She was Visiting Professor at the Law Center of Passau University (Germany) in 1991, 1992 and 1997 and at the Faculty II of the Leuphana University of Lüneburg (Germany), from 1999 until now.
