Professor Olusegun Gabriel Adegbite is an academic, author and consultant. He is a Professor of Accounting and Finance and a visiting Professor to a number of Universities in North America, Australia and Europe. He is a research Professor at Harvard University and a visiting Professor at Clark Atlanta University in Georgia in the United States. He was formerly an Associate Professor in Accounting and Finance at Teesside University in England and also an Assistant Professor at Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland, United Kingdom.
Professor Gabriel Adegbite researches and consults in the broader areas of accounting, finance and economics such as: corporate governance, business regulations, ethics, developmental economics, corporate social responsibility, risk management, audit, macro and micro economics etc. His experiences cover developed, emerging and developing economies. He also teaches in both core and non-core areas of accounting, finance and economics such as: management accounting, financial accounting, micro and macroeconomics and contemporary issues in accounting such as corporate governance, public sector accounting, research method, environmental accounting etc. Professor Gabriel Adegbite is a member of various professional bodies. He also plays and produces music in his spare time.
